General Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement
By clicking "Register" or signing up for any event organized by NYC Sprint Collective LLC and/or other event organizers (collectively, the "Event Organizers"), I, the participant, acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Acknowledgment of Risks
I understand that participation in any event organized by or in partnership with NYC Sprint Collective LLC and/or other Event Organizers involves inherent risks, which may include, but are not limited to, personal injury, illness, property damage, and other potential hazards. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, whether caused by my own actions or the actions of others, during such events, regardless of the event date.
2. Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in events organized or sponsored by NYC Sprint Collective LLC and/or the Event Organizers, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless NYC Sprint Collective LLC, the Event Organizers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action related to any injury, illness, disability, death, or property damage sustained as a result of participation in any event, regardless of the event date, and whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
3. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of or resulting from my participation in any event on any date or from any breach of this Agreement.
4. Medical Treatment
I consent to receive any necessary medical treatment during my participation in any event, regardless of the date, and understand that I am responsible for all associated costs, including transportation, if such treatment is required.
5. Compliance with Rules
I agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the Event Organizers, including safety guidelines. I understand that failure to comply may result in my removal from the event without refund or recourse.
6. Photography and Media Release
I acknowledge that during any events, I may be photographed or recorded, and I hereby grant NYC Sprint Collective LLC and the Event Organizers the right to use my likeness in promotional materials or media, without any compensation or further notice.
7. Governing Law
This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
By clicking "Register," I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this General Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement. This waiver applies to any event in which I participate, regardless of the date.
